French Lessons

Our French courses are adapted to all levels and taught by expert teachers. Using an action-based approach, these blended-learning courses provide the tools you need to master the French language.

Duration : 15 hours per week, over 30 weeks

Method : Blended-learning – a mix of face-to-face, distance learning and e-learning modules.

Enrolment : all year round.

Sessions start : September each year.

Prerequisites

  • This course is for adults (18+).
  • For non EU citizens (including British citizens) : a student visa is obligatory.

Course Outline

The program is adapted to each language level (A1 to C1) defined at the beginning of the course.

This series of courses includes 1 or 2 lessons a week (at the centre or on Zoom) to improve written and oral skills (vocabulary, grammar, syntax, written and oral expression, oral and written comprehension) + 3 e-learning modules to be completed each week to revise subjects covered in class or practice new topics.

We also organise themed workshops every month (cultural outings, themed workshops: literature, cinema, etc.).

Objectives

Objectives are set by the educational advisor with the trainee, after an initial positioning test. At the end of the training, the trainee should be able to master the objectives initially predefined in terms of:

  • Vocabulary
  • Grammar
  • Syntax
  • Writing
  • Oral comprehension
  • Speaking

Proposed levels : from A1 to C1.

Teaching methods

Blended-learning training:

  • Face-to-face, at our Paris training centre
  • Distance learning, by video-conference (synchronous)
  • E-learning modules adapted to your level of French and your pace (asynchronous)

Evaluation methods

  • Test of French level at the beginning of the course.
  • Evaluation questionnaires (written and oral) during and at the end of the course.
  • Delivery of a FLE Paris Institute of Childcare Training certificate at the end of the course, subject to validation of the level and attendance.
  • Possibility of registering for the DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) or TCF exam.
